Fabiola’s Testimony
Hello, my name is Fabiola Cadillo, and I want to share how Jesus has transformed my life. For a long time, I thought my life was fairly ordinary and that having good values and beliefs was enough. However, I was also impulsive, had outbursts of anger, and believed I could solve everything in my own strength.
One of the moments that most deeply marked my life was the death of my mother. Her passing left me with a pain that is difficult to explain. I felt as though I were living a nightmare while awake, thinking that I would now be alone, without anyone who loved me as she had.
During that time, a woman who hardly knew me—but who is very special in our Community—hugged me and told me I was not alone, that Jesus loved me, and that I could cry as much as I needed to let my mother go. Later, I understood that Jesus had used her to comfort me.
Soon afterward, I was welcomed at Esperanza de Ana. They received me during one of the worst moments of my life and gave me a place where I no longer felt alone. There I found comfort and peace.
I have now been working here for three and a half years. It is a special place where I found people devoted to serving vulnerable families, children, and adolescents. Their dedication and love showed that Jesus was at the center of their lives. Their example drew me closer to God and taught me to look at others through eyes of love, valuing their stories just as Jesus values mine.
Over time, I came to understand that God often uses the people around us to accomplish His work. Because of this, I deeply value the people He has placed in my life. Before, I approached God only when I was facing problems. Now I sense that Jesus is present in every moment of my life—from the time I wake up until I go to bed—in joys, difficulties, decisions, and mistakes.
Today I know that Jesus loves me as I am and does not abandon me as I grow into the person He wants me to become. I have often found answers in His Word—not always what I expected, but what I needed.
My life is not perfect, but I now see it with a different heart. Before, I sought God only when I had problems; now I want to walk with Him every day. Before, I thought I could do everything alone; today I know that I need Jesus. Before, I focused on the mistakes of others; today I am learning to see them through eyes of love. Before, I felt alone in my difficulties; now I know that I never was.
Jesus is here with me, and I trust that He will continue accompanying me in every step. I thank Him for His love and patience, for my family, for the opportunities He has given me, and for the people He has placed in my path. I am still learning to know Jesus, and I desire for Him to continue transforming my life each day.

Fabiola works with third and fourth grade students and their families. She helps lead worship, bringing joy, warmth, and a sense of security through her gifts and heart. Fabiola loves studying the Bible and continues to bless our Community with testimonies of how Christ is working in her heart. She and her husband have been married for almost 20 years and enjoy spending time with their daughters, Zareth and Bianca.
